Maybe a little background will help the voting. I am a fan of Lego and Star Wars and both my sons like them too. The other day we had a Lego war and I was getting my butt handed to me. My Knights and explorers just couldn't compete with their high tech fire power. So I figure I needed some cool stuff to tip the balance back into my favor. I narrowed it down to these two because I wanted a ship since my flyers are air balloons and small planes without any guns. Also, I will be buying at a Target store since the gift cards are for there. Which also means, I only have enough for one.

I really like all of the minifigs in the frigate. Space Wolves clone troopers, 3 jedi (Quinlan Vos and Yoda are really cool)

It's the Millennium Falcon! The fastest ship in the galaxy. While it is the coolest ship in the Star Wars universe, the only minifig that really impresses me is Darth Vader, but Han and Chewy are always cool.

It really boils down to the Falcon vs Minifigs. Even when I was a kid (in body and mind ), I spent more time playing with the figs than the structures.

I'm looking at Dakka to solve this major dilemma.

I mainly used the spoiler tags to help save screen space. no need for people to have to scroll past the image all the time, and if someone has it in a reply quote it is just a spoiler line instead of the same image popping up over and over.

Not sure if I am surprised by the results so far. Thought the younger crowd might be picking the frigate more.

Anyway, the Target near me was sold out of both so it is still up in the air.

How does a little gunship/troop transport filling the role a blackhawk does now warrant the title "frigate"? That seems odd to me. I thought it was going to be some kind of space vessel at least.

That said, Falcon. It's waaay more iconic and pretty awesome.
I mean, it made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!

Whoops, on closer look that isn't the republic thingy I thought it was. But still, the Falcon man!

I'm not really able to help your decision, since both kits are all kinds of awesome.

However, this did prompt me to scroll through Lego's website and see this, which, frankly, trumps everything else (albeit at four times the price).

0-3 for Targets around me so far. However, I did notice a bid on ebay for just the frigate minifigs. I figure I will put in a somewhat low bid to see if I get lucky.

Yes, because if he buys the frigate he will be a beautiful snowflake, fighting the system and rallying against the popular.

It's Star Wars, the popular choice was made before we got to this point.
