Just curious what you think with the changes to vehicles.

Has he been FAQ'd in any way? I can't access the GW site due to cookie blockage at work.

If not, then I'd say "no."

The reason I say that is that he can still be easily be killed by removing "hull points." It doesn't matter if you re-roll the penetrating hit chart if he still dies after three glance/pen hits.

Yeah. Now that you can't "recover his wreckage" to avoid losing extra kill points, failing one random Morale check is almost meaningless for Narines, and his survivability is reduced, I'd have a hard time paying for The Old Man.

Nay. They faq'd him to be even more of a liability.

I was hoping he would be good duelist being a character and all. AV13 gotta cause fits for most ICs and other characters. While he himself is hitting on 3s with S10 AP2 shots at I3 (before any P-fists are going to go off)

Then again, thats if he can actually duel.

Yarrick is a pretender to the name, as is anyone else who never fought alongside a primarch.

He's actually an old man though as opposed to a carrion corpse in the chest of a dreadnought; he's ancient and already has fitting titles.

Sadly he now kinda sucks. Venerable is not what it used to be.
