I was looking at this article from their website on SS-Panzergrenadier Command blister.
http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=3366

When I noticed this

Assembling the Panzerschreck Teams
Using the four-hole bases, arrange the Panzerschreck figures to taste. Ensure that the figures match i.e. the kneeling loader is paired up with the kneeling Panzerschreck gunner.

Bases
Description of Components
a. 2x Small three-hole bases.
b. 3x Small two-hole bases.
c. 2x Medium four-hole bases.

Looks like they are going to use these bases instead of the regular blank plastic bases. I am really happy about this. Not only will it make assembly easier, but this I feel will help encourage new players by making it easier to assemble.

That's the third set of new bases they've released. How many plastic sprues that aren't plastic tanks is this company going to release?

No wonder they're crapping themselves over PSC.

I'm quite fond of having the freedom to position my little men where I want them to go, not where other people think they should go. Also (probably deliberately) BFHoles tend to be a poor fit for PSC or Peter Pig stuff.

And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio

They are also a bad fit for much of their own stuff, since a good number of their figures have oval bases.

Of course its a big deal. There is a whole 'head/sand/ostrich' thing going on if anyone thinks that BF AREN'T concerned about superior product at lower prices.

True about the oval bases as well General Seric. Maybe they fit better if you stand the BF miniature on its huge bobble-head? Those are pretty round.

Oval bases, I've got some BF guys on square bases, and what if I want to make a mini-diorama where the sarge has gotten lost and Cpl. Johnson is helping him get his bearings?

Shall we all treat current BF-bases like Devlan Mud and begin to hoard them?

Also, where exactly does it say that these will become the new standard bases?

There was a thread in FOW forum that talked about it. Also they are using it in most of their new model kits.
