Hey all, I have a list here that id like some feedback on, and here it is!

HQ- Vulkan

Elites- x6 Sternguard, x2 Combi-Meltas, Power fist, TL Lascannon Razorback
Dreadnought w/ Multi-Melta, Heavy Flamer

Troops- x10 Tactical Marine, Missle Launcher, Meltagun, Power Fist, Rhino.
x10 Tactical Marines, Multi-Melta, Flamer, Power Fist, Rhino.

Fast Attack- Storm Talon
Storm Talon

Heavy Support- Land Raider Crusader w/ Multi-Melta
Vindicator

This should be right around 1850pts. I'm not totally sure which weapon to run on the Storm Talons, Lascannons or Skyhammer Missles....

Anyways, what do you think?
Thanks!
T-

I keep wondering if I should try to fit some shooty Terminators in the list, I don't have any TH/SS Terminators, just SB/PF and a Heavy Flamer.

Any ideas? Anybody have any decent luck with Storm Talons so far, and what do you use on them?

Thanks!
T-

Stormtalons, currently, like all flyers, are hard to shoot down, whilst being the only unit that you have available to shoot down flyers yourself.

Drop the raider is does nothing for you. The only thing it would be doing is getting assault termies into assault, even then it is a huge points sink.

melta, combimelta, ML tactical squad. The fist isn't really needed you can snap fire, retreat from dreads, in general it will not really help much in cc anymore due to challenges.
Two of these squads in rhinos.

2 heavy flamer, 4 combimelta, 6 sternguard in a rhino. This supports your other rhinos with antiinfantry whilst heavily using Vulkan. Flamers are also help stop cc.

2 vindis, as everything works better in pairs. I think vindis are going to be crucial this edition as they can instant kill t5 bikes, crack tanks, and kill termies.

Then 5 scouts, as you need more scoring units but haven't the points.
Snipers with cloaks and telion.

Else 5 scouts in a storm with MM or maybe flamer. This fits with Vulkan. Also the talon can escort it, meaning the scoring troops can be protected. It has jink.

Anyway that rewrites your list to replace the raider.

I am wondering why the Dread isn't in a Drop Pod? In a Vulkan list I wouldn't run a Dread with MM/HF if he wasn't being podded in to maximize his ability to pop tanks and generally cause havoc.
