Hey guys, I've recently purchased the starts of a Cygnar army, and I was wondering if anyone could help expand the army into higher point values with me. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do to continue this force, but I keep drawing blanks on how to appropriately continue, as I don't have the experience to know what's a good purchase and what is not. I'm going for a heavy Electrical theme with N3mo's abilities, it should be easy to make a good list revolving around it.
General Artificer Nemo
- Stormclad
Stormblade Infantry
- Leader + Banner UA
I also purchased Katherine Laddermore, and a Storm Gunner, other than that, I could really use some suggestions.
(I also have a Stormwall, but I'm guessing it's not exactly wise to bring in low point matches.)

Electrical theme... Stormguards, stormsmiths, stormlances, stormsmith storm towers, storm strider. I think that's most of the electrical units. Warjacks: Thunderhead, Firefly.
Consider a 75 point Army:
Nemo/Caitlen +3
Stormwall 19
Thunderhead 12
Firefly 5
Storm strider 9 OR
Drop the stormstrider and a stormsmith and use your stormclad
Stormblades with UA and 2 weapon attachments 10
Storm lances (min) 7
Katherine 5
Stormguard 8 (normally 9 but save a point for tier 1)
Storm smiths 3
You have quick penetration (stormlances spd 8). Assault allows you to use that move with an attack. After a POW14 attack (damaging or not) you strike ANOTHER 4" away (yes, at an unboostable POW 10). With N3mo, you get an extra dice added to this (in his control area).
Stormblades give you melee.
Stormsmiths can triangulate with the drop from the stormwall.
If you do a thunderhead, firefly, stormclad you can allocate 3 focus to each, plenty to move and attack with.
I think everything is immune to electricity, so check your tierings, I think you can get bonuses.
Feel free to flame away...

Thank you very much for your response, I appreciate it! 75 points is a little bit more points than my group usually plays, I'm looking for more around 35-50. Around 50 I'd love to use my Stormwall. I've already got the Stormclad, I'd love to keep it in the main list. Stormsmiths sound great, for sure going to get them. Was curious about the usefulness of Storm Lances, I'm really thinking about picking them up for sure.

Laddermore is only worth her points when combined with some stormlances. Otherwise she's just too expensive for what she does. That said I think 'lances will work well for what you are doing. They provide the maneuverability to counteract the general slowness of lightning armies. Storm infantry are only speed 5.
Stormsmiths are a no brainer with Stormwall. They make your opponent attack the lightning pods. Otherwise he can ignore them after you drop them. The stormsmith makes him pause and kill the thing before moving on. He doesn't want a triangulation with one of those behind him. Making him kill them means you get to deploy more of them as you can only have three out at one time. Remember, a lightning pod only does damage when deployed.
Buy mechaniks and Arlan Strangeways. Your stormwall will draw a lot of fire and being able to fix the damage and keep systems online is critical. Collossals can't be slammed or moved by your foe so you can have the fixers follow close behind it. The big lug will screen his hangers on and they will keep him in the fight. These are also cheep models. They won't eat deeply into your precious points.
Your stormclad also plays well with the 'wall. He can menace other heavies who want to close with the big guy, or go colossal hunting on his own. A behemoth will cut through a colossal pretty darn quick. Biggie's also vulnerable to high strength infantry. You can get a lot of them around a big base. Stormguard and 'blades help keep them back. stormblades can cut through pretty much anything that doesn't kill them first (and they give free focus to the stormclad). You can hide behind the stormwall to avoid widowmakers and the like.
Use Junior (aka journeyman warcaster) to put an Arcane Shield on Stormblades. This makes them immune to most blast damage. Junior can also run a firefly which will give you yet another triangulation point for your stormsmiths. Add a second firefly being jack marshaled by the storm blade officer or Arlan and you will make him spin in circles looking for who to kill so you'll stop zapping the stuff he's trying to protect.
Sound fun?
Almost all of this stuff can do lightning damage which makes N3mo's feat turn a real beyotch for your opponent.

Thank's a lot, aservan. So far I'm really liking this style of list, I tried playing it on Vassal with a friend, and I can go toe to toe with Absolonia. Stormsmiths are a little disappointing for me, they don't seem to do enough damage. Perhaps with the stormwall doing the triangulation thing, they'd be better, but I never seen to end up using anything but their normal lightning strike ability.

Stormsmiths are tricky. They are glass cannons, but they have some really nice advantages. They need LOS but get to ignore most other targeting restrictions. They aren't making ranged attacks so things that stop ranged attacks don't bother them.
This means Menoth's Choir doesn't prevent him from disrupting a 'jack. Remember no focus for a 'jack means no charging or running. That really slows them down. You only have to make a successful skill check to disrupt a 'jack. You don't need to damage it.
It's not a ranged attack so you can call lightning on things in melee. That means solos that popped out of no where or are stealthed are fair game. When Triangulating you effectively have a 20" range. Most units would kill for that kind of reach.
Stormsmiths without fireflies or the storm wall stink. They molest dead goats, etc. They are only worth it when you can keep them back and have something survivable setting up the triangulation.
Theory Machine says that you can use them to go solo hunting, but in practice it doesn't work. They die to an AOE, or the solo they're supposed to be hunting kills them first.
They're a cheap solo that only comes into its own in higher point games.
Against Hordes the utility of a storm smith takes a nosedive. You can't disrupt hordes stuff so half their utility is gone. Sort of. Stormsmiths allow you to hit "impossible to hit" targets. DEF is irrelevant to a stromsmith. You hit if you roll 8 or less. Hordes has lots of high DEF stuff so the storm smith is still helpful. It's only helpful if the ting you're targeting has a high DEF and low armor. As you've already noted. They don't do a lot of damage. Still 2 points on a warlock or warcaster can add up.
