Hey guys, I'm just beginning to start building and collecting some plastic 1:24 scale model cars, I thought now i'm older and have a few good years of this hobby under my belt I'd give my paintbrushes and glue something different to work on I've seen some good examples that people have modified with different rims/lowered etc mainly on Mini Truckin' sites yet i can't seem to find any decent websites that delve into these models and what you can do with them?

any of you build and paint them? i'd love to throw some ideas around

I'm doing 1/700 scale naval, which is pretty much the other end of things.

The only thing I suggest is to use Klear to make the transparencies look awesome. It works beautifully well on aircraft canopies.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I used to do some by Revell and the like. My brother the giant still dabbles in them from time to time. I used to LOVE decking those things out. I guess theres some really good vids on YouTube that can give you some cool ideas and tips. My brother learned a few really awesome rusting techniques from there, as well as how to make "broken glass" from some of them. So he used those techniques to make a pretty nice looking wrecked 1957 chevy bellaire. Good luck on those, and make sure you give us some pics as well
