Howdy,
I'm trying to find the origin of an often used line by desperate power houses.
It goes something along the lines of "I can give you anything! Money! Power! Women! ...Men?"
If anyone knows where that's originally from, I'd love to know.
PS: Tried google, doesn't work that well.

KK is correct in that the premise of the line comes from the temptation of Jesus Christ in the New Testament (namely the Gospels).

It's a pretty common mythological trope; the Judgement of Paris, as written down c850 BC in the Illiad (though its full details, regrettably were part of the now-lost Kypria), would be another prominent example.
