I'm starting a spacemarine army and can't figure out how I should paint them any thing helps

Here are a couple links to help you. Also you could use the bolter and chainsword painter to come up with your own scheme by just playing around with colors and finding something that you like.

Whats you're favorite colour? or what codex do you want to be using? what models do you have already?

Choose your favourite colour, look at a colour wheel and pick out a color on the opposite side to be a highlight color, neighboring shades of both are fantastic additions as long as the primary colour unifies the entire army.

I'm planning purple power armour with yellow shoulder pad trim's and one knee with a colour to indicate the company or the squad etc will be using the wheel to pick those colours.
