Hello. I recently played a BA player who claimed that if any part of a blast template was off the table it could not be fired. He used this to advance his marines hugging the edge, so that I could not fire any of my long range weapons at him. After the game, I looked at the rules and could only see that if the hole was off the table, it didn't count. Who's right?

nope, only if the centre hole is off the table, it's right there in the blast rules

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).
