So I'm toying around with this list, which doesn't field ANY vehicles (save Storm Ravens) and relies on a solid piece of terrain as a firebase to shoot from.
HQ
---
Librarian w/ Might of Titan, Quicksilver, Sanctuary, The Shrouding, Vortex of Doom, Warp Rift [180]
Inquisitor Coteaz [100]
Elite
---
Techmarine w/ Nemesis Warding Stave, Psychotroke Grenades, Rad Grenades, 3 Servo Skulls [149]
Paladin Squad w/ 4 Psycannons, Warding Stave, Bro Banner [675]
Troops
---
GKSS w/ Psycannon and Psybolt Ammo [130]
Henchmen Warband - 2 Servitors w/ Plasma cannon, 2 Jokaero, 1 Acolyte w/ Plasmagun, 5 Acolytes w/ Boltguns [149]
Henchmen Warband - 2 Servitors w/ Plasma cannon, 2 Jokaero, 1 Acolyte w/ Plasmagun, 5 Acolytes w/ Boltguns [149]
Fast Attack
---
Stormraven w/ TLHB, TLAC, Hurricane Bolters, Psybolt Ammo [255]
Stormraven w/ TLMM, TLLC [205]
Total: 1992 Points
Paladins load up in Stormravens with Techmarine and Librarian, while Troops deploy on the field with 3++ bolstered cover save with Coteaz and shoot at whatever moves.
Comments/criticisms welcome.

How about dropping 1 servo skulls and load up 2 hammers on those Paladin. I do like the 2+/2+ challenge blocker techmarine.

Hammers are free for Paladins, IIRC. I didn't list them there as they didn't take up points cost, and depending on what I thought I was going up against I'd swap them interchangeably (I've magnetized all their arms) for either hammer, sword, or halberd.
I use servo-skulls to prevent deepstrike shenanigans and to drop my plasmacannon blast templates more accurately.

As the paladins an storm ravens are such a large part of your force you might want go consider an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor who starts on the table. Reason being you can upgrade him to a psyker and give him psychic communion, it almost guarantees that the Storm Ravens come in on turn 2 an then you can assault out on turn 3. I haven't had a Storm Raven fail to make it out on turn 2 yet using that strategy, even though the hq slot is kind of wasted after they come on.

He could an you could footslog him along with either the henchmen or SS.
I would send Coteaz with BRB powers along with the techmarine an Paladins. With some of the new pyromancy powers Coteaz could turn into a beast.

And which pyromancy are you talking about? Just naive question.

Well the primaris power isn't bad for pre assault it's Str 4 Ap2 so good against Terminators an the last one which is the 12" Str 8 Ap1 melta beam, that one is really nasty. I don't have the BRB in front of me an I don't remember the other powers in that discipline.

I did consider the Ordo Malleus Inquisitor, however, I decided to stick with Coteaz as he is relatively cheap for the 2+ save/3 wounds that he gets, as well as the two psychic powers on the Divination table. Some of my better rolls include ignoring cover saves for weapons fired by his squad, and rolling 3d6 to pick the roll that I want for reserves, outflanking, and mysterious terrain.
It's a bit of a luck game, considering that he doesn't have Communion like you suggested, but I think that aside most armies don't have the firepower to knock out 2 full henchmen squads and a GKSS before my SRs come onto the field.
Footslogging is not an option in my FLGS - too many shooty armies, unless you're playing a 40-man TH/SS Deathwing army with Cyclone launchers... The Paladins with Libby and techmarine are already very effective in close combat, I feel like there's no need to buff them up further.
Looking at my list again, I'm strongly looking at my Troops choices again to see if that can be changed up. I just realized that the henchmen squad without Coteaz will be taking Mindlock on the servitors all the time. Should I stick all my heavy weapon servitors in one squad, and have the other be a Jokaero/acolyte with more plasma squad? Or I could scrap them and field a Vindicare instead. I'm also looking at swapping the GKSS out for an interceptor squad. Right now they've been sitting there out of range for most of the game holding objectives. A GKSS would allow me to contest objectives late-game a bit better and provide a quick-reaction squad should I need it.

I wouldn't take Coteaz out I just think he is better off in CC, Librarians are great but with power weapons going to a 3+ paladins took a huge hit as any other Terminator squad will chew them up. Coteaz gives you strong options with Pyromancy plus the ability to buff the squad with hammerhand.
If you take hammers on the Paladins you are giving up most of the benefits the librarian can offer, as you won't need Might of Titan or Quicksilver(which wont really help if you interspers some halberds in with the hammers) sanctuary is good, shrouding won't be much help because prolly won't be getting them into cover, the minute they jump out of the Ravens they are going to be the center of attention. Swords might help survive against Terminators but they won't kill them. If you really wanna keep the Librarian I would try an get him a warding Staff
Also do you know if the interceptors can jump out after a zoom move or does it still have to go into Hovermode? I don't have the BRB in front of me.

Coteaz was meant to stick with the henchmen squad to fire at stuff with. He's a support inquisitor in my list with his 2 divination powers, not a close-combat one. I've looked at the Pyromancy powers, they generally suck pretty badly.
How am I giving up on the benefits the librarian can offer if I take Hammers? I put a cap on 1 to 2 hammers per Combat Squad, so the other guys still get the benefits of the librarian's powers.
I considered getting the Librarian a Warding Staff, but I realized he's too valuable to be resolving combat against him with. Paladins are Characters, so they can all do Look Out, Sir! to protect him.
Interceptors can jump out using Shadow Skies without scatter.

See I guess every store is different, i will prolly never run Paladins again as there are a lot of Marine players at my store an they are all starting to use at least 1 full ten man squad of Terminators. Basic terminators are going to kill Grey Knight terminators almost all of the time now, it doesnt matter if you are I6 because you still won't negate their armour saves,an once you get past str 5 it doesn't matter because you will still be wounding on a 2+. But every wound they cause is going to kill a Paladin because it is str 8.
If they are TH/ SS terminators forget about it, Paladins get eaten every time.
If your store has a lot of Xenos players then its not such an issue.

Depending on the set-up, my Paladins have quite soundly trashed basic terminators pretty oftenly. I avoid TH/SS terminators like the plague because I know that's a bad idea. I get pretty good results using Warp Rift on TH/SS terminators if they get too close - usually a third to half a squad dies since it's an initiative test with no saves whatsoever.

I like warp rift for vehicles nothing quite like auto penning a Land Raider or Monolith it is especially good for Imperial Guard considering how they usually grouped their vehicles together, love the change to blast weapons
In 5th edition Paladins feared almost nothing, in 6th its all together different.

Have you thought of using th epysker henchmen with 8 of them you basically have a strength 10 ap 1 blast. There are trade offs but can be pretty powerfull.
