Hi all, may someone link me a site where find some acrylic coloured rods (eventually of different colours from the GW greens) that could fit the Necron Warriors GAUSS FLAYERS?

Besides, a little question for who have already done something similar, doees this kind of rods come in one piece and must be cutted on size (in this case cutted with what?) or it come already at the right dimensions?

Any help would be much appreciated.

In the US - I would say head to your local hunting/fishing/gun store and take a look at the fluorescent sights for bows/guns.

Lots of different sizes/colors - cheap and readily available over here.

Plastruct sells it in red, blue, green and yellow - should be able to find that through local model shops (or ordered online from not so local hobby shops). Comes in 20" lengths and a half dozen different diameters.

After that - it is sort of hitting the various plastic suppliers till you find one that carries the diameter you want and the color you want. While I am sure there is someone who is doing it - I don't recall seeing anyone selling ones which are already cut to the right length for the Necron guns (though if they were - they would likely be tacking on a markup that makes it sort of ridiculous)

While not the hard acrylic your looking for, another good and cheap option is head to any hobby store that carries RC cars/trucks etc and look at the options they have for antenna covers. Only down side is its basically a plastic rod so you need to cut it to the right size

Colored acrylic rod from model supply shops is available in just about any diameter you could want, but is often costly. While you have less control over the diameter, I haven't had any trouble finding dirt cheap plastic drink stirrers in various translucent colors.

I bought Blue off of Plastruct, I think I got 240" of the flayer size and 60" of destroyer weapon size for 20$ (considering you use ~ an inch per flayer, thats an ass ton)

Also, the standard diameter you want is 5/32. If you want bulkier looking rods (that's what she said) you can use 1/8th, but that will cause problems when the rods are double-stacked like with Immortals. Works nice for Deathmarks and Warriors though.
