I want to start a new army now that 6th is out. I only play SW up to this point but really love Orks since they are were my first WHFB army almost 5 years ago (when I started the Warhammer Hobby).
I've only been in 40k for less than a year but I love collecting models having almost 4000 points in SW, and having at one point, 6 WHFB armies.
Anyways, I love the new Ork Flyers and want to build a shooty list built around as many flyers as I can pack in. If anyone wants to kind of push me in the right direction with some builds or list ideas I'd really appreciate that. Or a Biker list. I've never done either so I want to start one with the new Edition. Looking forward to the painting.
and if all of this fails I wouldn't mid building a Necron Flyers list.

Just for a list idea. I have been running a Nob biker list with 3 dakkajets with extra supa shoota's and it has been doing fantastic. Bikes got a huge upgrade in this edition and the Nob bikers being troops if done right makes the list very strong. Throw a couple PK's in the nobz and a couple units of gretchin to hold objectives in or near your deployment.

I have read about several other ideas, but I am a bike lover myself. A Wazdakka army has worked well, but not as well as the nob bikers for me.

Could you reference me to a good Biker/Jet list? Maybe give me some insight into yours? I have access to any models at 45% off so bring it on I can make it happen lol

You have loads of options available. May I suggest an ork and necron army with 2 necron flyers, 3 ork jets, then some units like warbikers or nob bikers so you can stay on the table and not autolose.
