Well its dubious as to whether the Staghound III with the Crusader turret ever saw actual service.

A total of 14 are shown on the 30th June 1945 returns from 21 Army Group and as in service with 30 Corps (7) and 5 Canadian (7). The remainder (61 vehicles) were still in depots awaiting issue.

While they served in various locales post-war, it seems likely the Staghound III saw little, if any, combat service in WW2.

As for a model, its an easy conversion. Take a Staghound hull and glue a Crusader turret on it!

QRF dont make one... Have you tried Skytrex, Old Glory, Peter Pig, Forged in Battle???

As far as I have heard from the few guys that have put one in a list....you got to buildem like the Brits did and take two models to make one good one.

So basically don't worry about the Staghound III option it is!

I will be looking into fielding this little gem of an army in a few months once my FJ army is done.

Cheers!

I've got a 1750 dragoon army and converted mine with some stag 3 turrets from another company (name escapes me) the army is tough to use, I play against a lot of tigers so all the normal stags are useless against them, and trained is tough.
But it's fun to play with
