Tough-as-Nails Ork Boy






So i've been playing around with the codex, double FoC, and my model limitations & come up with two 'nearly there' lists - just short of the 2000pt mark. There are two lists here for your tweaking considerations - and both will need 'something adding/changing' to make up to 2000pt.

I think fundamentally you do not have the right mix of mech and infantry. 2000 points means your three vehicles will die quickly.

Then I would make nob bikers bigger, and they definitely want the warboss to keep them alive. Also bosspoles would be required.

I wouldn't put a SAG with lootas, try grots. You want the SAG to target for itself and then grots are expendable.

'Ard boys are not worth the investment.

you cannot do this as the Painboy has his own weapons and cannot take wargearother than the bike. you could use the logic that this is 3 Nobz + 1 Painboy = 4 Bikers, but that would cost either 25 or 45 more points (depending on which logic you use for the Painboy, add-on or upgrade).

other than the above, IMO SAG Meks are bes with an artillery battery. Kannons with ammo runts and extra crew, you can get a reroll on many of your SAG shots. also the KFF Mek needs some more protection like a cyborg body.

the main issue I'm seeing, however, is mixing strategies in the second list and oth lists seem to have too few scoring units.
