With my limited free time i like the prepainted and can put a few tweaks on them to dress them up some. Not a fan of the rules (probably use F&F or blackpowder)

But the main question is has anyone here seen these first hand?

Thanks in advance!

Somewhere in south-central England.

I have never see these before.

They are 10mm which is a good scale for ACW due to the ranges and army sizes involved. I don't think there is much available in 10mm though there is plenty of 15mm (I have a Union army myself) and 28mm.

The level of quality looks very acceptable for 10mm especially if a base of infantry is six figures and they come ready based.

As you've realised, you can buy the armies and use different rules. Fire & Fury would work well -- I'm not sure if it is still in print.

The downsides are that you can't buy individual units, and because it's a new scale, you're missing out all the possible ACW gamers already out there with armies in 15mm.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I've not seen them personally, but I've heard plenty of good things about them.

Apparently, a bit of touch up, some dip, and some flocking will get you a great looking 10mm army.

The guy behind G&H is now working on an AWI line, and Napoleonics are rumored to be next.

Thanks for the responses guys. My gaming group is just getting into the ACW era. We are debating scale and rules now. Blackpowder is currently the rules of choice (simple, quick to play, we all have them) i am just not sure it confers the 'flavor' the way F&F does.
