So I slowed down on painting just before the new citadel line came out, so most of my paints are still the old line, but I was looking at possibly getting a pot of the texture paint to muddy up the wheels of my nearly finished battlewagon. Has anyone tried using the paints for this already? If so, how did it work out?

Oh HO aren't you lucky because I JUST did this and posted it on Reddit last week.

Here's a picture of my result. I also heavily muddied up the tank treads of my Battlewagon, but haven't taken a picture of that yet.

I think the same effect can be produced by mixing fine sand, PVA glue and paint.

Looks good to me, I use them as well for my bases now and if you want the wheels to look a bit more "used" you might slop it on thicker. Other than that no complaints from me
