I have had a fair amount of success with my necrons thus far when I ran a destroyer lord 1K list last month and came in second place... with the new 6th edition rules, I wanted to take advantage of all the neat new stuff that can be done so I switched things around a bit, however I would like as much friendly critique as possible to help balance the list

HQ:

Anrakyr w/ CCB (gauss variant)

Elites:

C'Tan Shard w/ Transdimentional Thunderbolt and WWS

Stalker w/ twin-linked heavy gauss cannon

Troops:

Eternals x10 w/ Gauss Blasters

Warriors x10

Warriors x10

Fast Attack:

Wraiths w/ whip coils

1 destroyer

1 destroyer

Heavy Support:

Doom Scythe

Anrakyr in the CCB is meant to be a harrassment unit along with the doom scythe... pool as much attention towards them so as to prevent any uneccessary damage to the stalker who will twin-link those pesky vehicles I want gone with gauss fire... I have the destroyers seperate as they more often worked better this way for me to act as a buffer for the rear ranks, who is also bolstered by the C'tan... wraiths are pretty self explanatory... the reason why I dont have orbs or lords/crypteks with my troops is because they dont seem to like my dice or vice versa, and I've actual had more luck surviving with 5+ per squad than you'd think...

Seems a little all over the place, i honeslty wouldnt bother with just 1 destroyer. I would maybe take another doom scythe instead of the stalker, and maybe 2 squads of wraiths, 4 in each...
Maybe take Zahndrek instead of the Ctan and put him with the immortals
Just my opinion

I agree that the list is spread a little thin.

The C'tan is viewed by most to be about the 2nd worst unit in the codex, unless you have a clear plan for it. I usually see lists with C'tan because you already have the model, and like the way it looks on the field. I don't have a problem with that, but I think you can use it with a bit more synergy. I would recommend a cheaper lord, and a court full of HoT's. Maybe find some points for Orikan. This lets the C'tan be a force multiplier with WWS, rather than an expensive point sink. Dangerous terrain is less dangerous now, but it's still about as bad for horde armies. (Orks, IG, etc). That, and forcing your opponent to roll saves is still better than not.

unfotunately I am incapable of buying anything else right now as I am moving soon, but everything I have is as follows

60 warriors
10 immortals
several HQs
3 wraiths
loads of scarabs
1 spyder
1 CCB/Annihilation barge
2 destroyers
1 stalker
1 C'tan
and I think thats it...

the reason for the list is that the over all competitive air is shadowed over myself, a wolf player, a BA player, and a raven guard player... any ideas with this input?

Pretty much you have a full force that can re-deploy around the map. Overlord goes with the warriors, anrakyr is with his buffed up immortals. If you play your cards right you can teleport around, destroying vehicles with one volly from either unit (glances should be enough). Warriors knock out 5 marines per shooting and immortals kock out 3. If you the abyssal staff also in range, you can grab a few more wounds. The goal is to pick 1 squad and make sure it dies. Try to stay out of assault as much as possible, however you are no pushover. In melee, most players will underestimate how much damage 20 warriors, 2 mindshackle scarabs, and 2 warscythes can do. With chalanges, you can now mindshacke the character of your choice very easily. Scarabs and wraiths tie up units or counter charge enemies that are assaulting you. Both are also good at destroying vehicles given the chance.

Without transports, you really have a hard time running a full fleshed out list, but this should be pretty decent.
