Hey guys this is my first post on the Dakka forum and first army blog ever. I am super excited to be doing this and am using it to my advantage to get back into the swing of things and get motivated to model/paint again. I have had to put things on hold for some time now due to life and other stuff coming up, so I'm hoping this will give more incentive to get at my army and put some good amount of work into it. I would also love to hear feedback from you guys and what you think about the army as I get down the road and on what I currently have. This army is completely new I have had it for some time now just hasn't been given as much attention as I would like to have given it. I will start off with what has been worked on/finished and go from there

First up is a half squad of warriors, the only thing I have managed to finish completely

Current project is finishing up the other half of the squad (only four since one bit the dust awhile back)

Over the course of attempting to put time into this army I have a random scattering of work on various squads and such. Some I can only give a preview of one model

next up are the Hellions, they have probably gotten the most love besides the warriors above still require some time though

also have a preview of what the wyches will end up looking like

Made time to test paint a wrack, the models look really awesome outside of being finecast. Wish they had just made a plastic kit for these guys

Next up is the one and only Lelith Hesperax, I enjoyed painting the model most of all highlighting the hair. Only down fall to her was the air bubble on the bottom of one of her butt cheeks not noticeable though unless you really look for it

And finally what I plan on being a centerpiece for the army was my Razorwing, only got as far as getting the artwork done and nothing else

So thats what I have so far besides an archon (metal) that is painted but is being replaced by another of finecast and some scourges who's pictures will be uploaded at a later time. Most everything needs some more time spent finishing up the last details and I could list off what all needs to be done but I won't bother as my list will become endless and I'll end up with a new color scheme a week from now haha so that is all for now

Unfortunately the pictures aren't working, however I went to the first image directly and it's simply fantastic.

You should upload your pictures to the Dakka Gallery for all to see!

Yeah I seem to be having some technical issues, I edited them twice now and changed the pictures all over the same exact ones I have up in the gallery and they still seem to not want to work. I'll have to keep messing around with it and figure out the problem

AND success

figured I would do this sooner then later, here are some pictures of the scourges I have done.

The 3rd feathered scourge is done but I need to play with the color of his feathers alittle, he ended up being the first test scourge and I came up with these two from there. Had also thought about doing NMM effect on the helms to go along with the solarite's weapon, but I went the safe route and didn't try it.

I have another box of 5 of these bad boys and can't decide what colors to do their feathers, so I figured I would see what you guys think and I'm open to suggestions

Not a very large update, being the slow painter I am and finding it difficult to sit down for longer periods of time, but the end is near for this whole squad. Armour is the most time consuming part so here they are almost done

Thanks I seem to have taken more of a liking to the lighter DE color schemes, nothing against the dark ones but they always have been that way.

The WIP warriors are nearly done, just needing a few details picked out then onto basing with some pictures so those shall be up in the next day or two. Considering moving onto that Razorwing next, I really enjoyed painting the freehand on it so it would be nice to finish the whole thing off and see how it turns out

Thank you sir! Glad you like it, nice to start getting some feedback on what people think

Painting completed on these guys, doing the bases as I type this out basically (waiting for glue to dry) then a final picture of the four based and probably a shot of the whole family

Little late with the update, bases got pushed back due to Nephew's birthday earlier but they are finally done! Yay this squad has been half done for some time now, very happy about finishing it off.

Got a little excited and snapped pics before I had cleaned up the bases

And the whole group

Now time to figure out what project to pick up next! Of coarse after some much deserved sleep

Not a huge update, but got a small amount of work done on my next project!

Possibly one of my favorite units in the game, I just love the look of the models. I've had an eye for these guys since 4th Ed but never got the chance to paint them till now.
Only got first coat on so far, but looking forward to finishing these guys

Oh so small update once again bah! This time to a legitimate reason though, got a storm SUPER bad here (knocked trees all over the place, trashed a lot of places so I have been annoyingly busy) but got some work done in the mean time when I could sneak it in.
Not finalized on the loin cloth and bandages, I think another highlight to come on that

And just a close up

Hope you guys enjoy and I am really hoping to get some solid work done on these bad boys in the next couple days!

Bit of an update, almost finished these guys off. The end is near yet again! Put another highlight on the cloth and am very happy with the sword effects.

C&C welcome, what do you guys think about the swords? Considered blending another highlight into them but unsure

Hey guys sorry for the super amazingly slow update! been busy and distracted but alas I have finally completed these guys and am quite happy with the turn out, especially the klaivex's demi klaives and the purple effect on them

C&C welcome! Thanks for checking it out!

Very nice work. I'm keeping an eye on this

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
