What armies could alliance together.

Eg:
Races:
Humans (IMP Guard, Space Marines)
Tau
Elder

Why:
They are the only civilised species in the game.

Why Team Up
The Humans have the Amour (SM) and the artillery
The Tau have the technology
And the Elder have the way of the Warp and the Craft worlds.


Above is just and example so it may need more looking into.
But try not to look into (eg. Humans hate eveything) but try to look into things like
Eg: Necrons and Nids
Nids are looking for biomass and the Necrons are looking for souls.
(I know the Necrons are living metal, but dont tell the Nids)

Are you just trying to come up with background justifications for alliances? Because that's pretty easy...

We (me and a few people) where looking at how each army colud be an allience.
(dont look into the W40k rule book)
but try to look at things like

Nids are looking for biomass and the Necrons are looking for souls.

The Nids have no Souls and the Necrons have no Biomss
