Today marks the day of the very first squigathon. The squigathon is when I will post 1 new squig type a day over the course of ten days. Today is the first day, so search Day 1 squig squigathon in the 40k proposed rules. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and if anyone has any ideas for squigs, let me know by posting below!

OK, Day 1, here are the rules for the Robo Squig!
WS: 4
BS: 2
S: 5
T: 4
W: 1
I: 3
A: 3
Ld: 4
Sv: 5+
Wargear: Slugga
Iron Teeth: The iron Teeth count as 2 close combat weapons (bonus already included in profile).
Robo Armor: Robo Armor gives the Robo Squig a 5+ armor save.
Upgrades: Auto-lock slugga (increases BS to 3) 5 points per Robo Squig.
Note: an Ork Big Mek may take 2 Robo Squigs for 10 points each.
Note: moved from original thread so date is not accurate.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Alright, Day 2 'ere we go ladz.
Spore Squig
WS 4
BS 0
S 4
T 4
A 2
I 3
Ld 4
Sv 6+
Wargear: Teeth(Close combat weapon)
"Happy Spores": Any Ork model within 8 inches of a Spore Squig has +1 attack and +1 Leadership. This can affect other Spore Squig this affect does not stack. (a.k.a. You can't have 2 Spore Squigs next to a boy who then gets +2 attacks and +2 Leadership.)
"Horror Clouds" any non-Ork unit or Ork unit that is not a part of your army within 8 inches of the Spore Squig suffer -1 Initiative and -1 Strength to a minimum of 1. The affect does not stack. (see above for explanation).
Cloud of Spores: The Spore Squig is always treated as having a 5+ cover save. However, because the Spore Suig is filled with flammable spores, flamer weapons (burnas, flamers, anything that attacks with fire) has +1 Strength when rolling to Wound.
Whaddya fink ladz?
Note: moved from original thread so date not accurate.

How about the gestation squig -
The squig has been bred to spread fast growing orc spores, swiftly adding to the power of any waagh even during the midst of battle.
Nob upgrade in boys squad
- units can recover d3 models per shooting phase, even taking the unit past its original starting strength.
- squig must pass its own Ld test in order for this to take effect. (Ld 4 or 5 maybe?)
I'll leave the points and stats to those that know better!

Well, I'm updating Orks to 6e with some nice things - including squigs (mostly for the Snakebitez) - Once I settle on how they're going to be represented and how they're going to fit in with the rest of the dex, I might come contact you for your expertise in such matters.
