I know now that with the release of 6th it has been a quick amendment to make Big Red Book into Big Rule Book. But is this really the best choice? I understand this and the functionality of it but what would you call it / do call it instead of just BRB?

Personally I think the SYB might be appropriate. splotchy yellow book. Just sticking with the colours theme.

Also why no hammer on the front, why has it been moved back a couple of pages?

One final thing has anyone found any typo's yet, cause I may have...
Please respond with thought not rage.

DEAR SHOE,

THAT'S RIGHT YOU ARE A SHOE. THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT NOT BEING A SHOE BECAUSE IN MY MIND YOU ARE ONE AND THAT IS MOST UNFORTUNATE.
AS LONG AS I HAVE YOU CONCEPTUALIZED AS A SHOE IN MY IMAGINATION YOU SHALL REMAIN AS SUCH.
THIS MAKES ME WONDER WHETHER ALL PEOPLES AND OBJECTS CAN BE CONCEPTUALIZED AS SHOES AND THUS BECOME SUCH, GRANTING ME ABSOLUTE POWER OVER THEM. DO YOU HAVE A CLEVER ARGUMENT? NO YOU DON'T, YOU"RE A SHOE. SHOES CAN'T HAVE CLEVER ARGUMENTS.
I FEEL LIKE THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD HAS BEEN LIFTED OFF MY SHOULDERS NOW THAT EVERYTHING IS UNDER MY CONTROL, NOW THAT YOU ARE ALL SHOES. I NO LONGER HAVE TO ANSWER TO MY REGRETS AND PAST MISTAKES BECAUSE THEY ARE SIMPLY SHOES.

Yes, I spend my time looking through that massive thing looking for typos.

As for the hammer, I was kind of disappointed it wasn't on the cover. Looks like the cover of a DA codex now.

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

Given that people have been using BRB, with a couple of variances, since like, 3rd edition, why change now?

You do know BRB is a general gaming short hand for Basic Rule Book also, right?

I've already read it as Big Rule Book or Basic Rule Book, regardless of color.

You know what else the Big Rule Book doesn't have but really should?

It should say "6th Edition" somewhere. But doesn't.

Right, the fact that the previous rulebook was red seemed more of an accident to this nomenclature.

Of course, I can see where this comes from given that 3rd and 4th ed were the BGB for green and grey, respectively.

The only one for 6th ed that I will not abide is calling it the BoB. Big 'ol Book makes me...

... punchy.
