Warlord Traits -

My Bloodthirster gained the ability to Outflank. Does this override the normal convention for daemons having to deep strike onto the board? We both said no and just re-rolled the trait.

Pile In and Whip Coils (?) <-- wraiths
The necron wraiths have those whips (I forget the exact name) that reduces your init to 1. During a pile in move at I5, a commander had to move into base with the wraith. What is the proper method for handling?

Option A - since he was not in b2b at the beginning of his init step, he moves into b2b contact and swings at regular initiative? The following turn, provided both are still in b2b, he would be at I1.

Option B - he moves into b2b at his init, but immediately drops to I1 upon making contact. He then swings at I1.

We decided on Option B. But an interesting thought came to mind. What would happen to the HQ should that wraith happen to get killed between the I5 where my commander moved in and I1 when the commander would now strike? Would the commander then make another pile in move at I1? Not very likely, but just wondering how decision made on how to play this may have ramifications later.

He piles in at I5, then drops to I1 when he would, if necessary, pile in and make attacks.

Agreed, yak did a poll on this. Search down the pages a few. It's a pretty good read.

I would agree, the ability to Outflank does not trump the requirement to enter via DS.
technically, I don't think you would get to reroll... but it makes sense they let you. ( I have not double checked that)

I concur with the above about the Whip Coils.

I would either let him go at the next init step, or let him wait and go at I1. It really does seem too much for him to 'lose' his attack because an enemy model died.
