Hey dakka, ive been enjoying playing fantasy a lot, but as for competitive play there arent many tournaments/ leagues around my area.. so im looking for some help from experienced people as to how to start one. Im definetly going to be starting a league/challenge-board at my FLGS and im thinking about possibly doing a tournament. but i need some help seeing as to i haven't done this before and dont have much experience playing in them either. any rules/conditions/tips would be great!

First thing to do is to look at what others have done. Take what you like and ignore what you don't. Start small and simple. Take a peak at some event's rules packets that are out there (Leadership 2s, Wagghpakka, SAWS, Blobs Park, ect) for some inspiration. Above all, do your very best to be objective and impartial. Nothing kills a new event faster than the perception of favoritism.

Alright, I'll check those tournaments and do a little research into them. Thanks for the advice
