No gun for the Aegis?
Only 5 guys in the LF squads?
Seems like you could drop the 5 man GH squad to up the # of LF and get a Quad.

Ah hell...I forgot to put the Gun down for the Aegis...it does have a quad gun.
If I drop the 5 Grey Hunters I net 3 more missile launchers...I'll have to check and see. I just wanted those 5 guys there as an annoyance and to man the gun.

Ahh, I was figuring you would put a LF squad on the gun since you've got a spare guy (sgt) anyways.
Not a fan of Wolf Tooth on a TWL, but YMMV.
Divination is awesome. It is so good that I want to take Master of Runes sometimes.

I've always like it for the off chance I need to square off against another Close Combat Monster (i.e Blood Thirster, Swarmlord, Mephiston). Hitting on 3's isn't a big deal until you roll 3's to hit and you only need 1 to land...
Divination is quickly proving amazing and now I'm even more torn with Master of Rune's myself.
I was initially thinking of doing the Long Fangs behind the Quad gun but as I read it you'd be using up your split fire if he operated it and the Long Fangs shot at something else.

Yeah, but how often do you need the split fire for all three squads? Plus if he uses interceptor on your opponent's turn, you don't have to worry about it since he can't use the gun on your turn.

True, I just liked the idea of another source of heavy firepower aiming at a 4th target without using Fire Control. I'll have to check and see what I like more.
Good points so far.

Thinking about starting a thread about this in Tactics but:
Why the Power Fists on the Wolf Guard Pack Leaders?
They aren't hidden anymore. The things you needed them for can now kill them before they get a chance to strike. Time to start rocking Power Swords and Wolf Claws.
At the same time, a Grey Hunter toting a Power Fist is no longer a bad choice in larger squads. With careful positioning you can keep him out of base contact with the enemy so you can hopefully keep him alive long enough to get what needs done, done.

You make some Valid points on the Wolf Guard and I'm considering going with Wolf Claws over the fists. Even more, I'm rather tempted to go with Hunters that have their own fists and leaving the Wolf Guard out entirely.
Then again, I can always use the challenge to isolate any killing machines from the unit so as to mitigate charges and the like. Something that needs some testing for sure.

You could, but then its costing you unless you run them naked. 3 points to buy a turn free of a Brood Lord mauling your squad is worth it, but what's the point in investing more into that guy? Furthermore, you are passing up a free gun then to do so.
The more I think about it the more I think we'll see more HQ units leading Grey Hunters instead of Wolf Guard when they are mounted in a Rhino. In a Drop Pod or on foot a TDA Wolf Guard will go a long way.

Too true, I've been thinkng the same thing and am looking to possibly do a foot list. With regard to the list at hand. I'll try this iteration and one without Wolf Guard to see how they handle.
