As the title says, what is your thought on the worst min made by Wyrd.

1. Ryle. Lets see, just an odd pose for the mini in general. Plus, he is a height 3 model, and, there are height 2 models larger than him.

2. Shikome. I know, a spirit of some sort. I might know the back ground (myth) of said beast. However, the whole sumo underwear thing just looks so out of place on this mini.

3. Perdita alt model. Why does she not have a cool action pose, shooting that pistol?

Those are my three. I realy enjoy the models for the most part, and the fact that you have multiple poses for models, up to three (witchling stalkers, death marshals, guild guard, latigo pistolers). I play guard, I know those.

So, what are your thoughts?

The Gaki without the hood...

Ryle is a great mini, just the angle they decided to shoot him from for the stat card etc... was exceptionally poor.

Malifaux has a real problem with model height accuracy, Pandoras Sorrows are ht 1, but are as tall as Pandora herself.

1. Avatar Marcus and his pet rock. So much fail.

2. Union Miners - All they had to do was copy the old coal/gold miners look with a bit of steam punk thrown in. What did we get? Wrestlers!

3. Lady J's Avatar. The incarnation of Balance - judging a body building contest WTF!

4. Levi's Avatar. Old man on a chaos knights' horse.

5. Hamelins Avatar has 2 problems. First problem is that its a diorama and not a model to play with, so looks out of place on the battlefield. Sceond problem that he is the manifestation of plague so why has he got long hair? Does he have a side job as the L'Oreal girl?

6. Pale Rider - The artwork showed real promise, the model failed to deliver big time.

7. Sonna Criid's alt sculpt. Its a giant model with a real ugly sword.

For me Ressurs got the best looking Avatars, which is a shame in some ways because some of the concepts and ideas that had gone into the Avatar ideas were really good.

To agree with some already mentioned: Marcus' Avatar, the hoodless gaki, and Sonia's alt.
To add a couple more: the original Flesh Construct, and Somer.

Collati. There was some serious modeling oppurtunity that was missed there.

Quite a few of my favourites in these lists !

But the one I absolutely do agree with is Collodi. So much potential for something really sinister and weird, but the end result is really dull and, in my opinion, ugly. Oh, and Ashes & Dust. That thing looks like a baked potato, and while it looks better on the table than it does in pictures it still looks awful.

Widow weaver. Though to be honest a lot of the recent last few months of Malifaux models have been shockers. Not sure if they sacked the old sculpter or what but its been a bit of a downward spiral as of late
