Can somebody clarify how battlements work for disembarking:

Specifically, if you leap down, does it count as your move or a disembark - as either if it's a disembark then you can jump down and then move six.

If it's a move then you can assault when you jump off..

----

Secondly if you had jump infantry standing on your Fortress battlements can they fly off and assault.

I have read the rules on it, but just don't understand it..

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

Its a move when they jump down.

Jump Infantry leap down just like everybody else, except they don't take the modifier to the DT test.

I believe it counts as their move for that turn. So they can assault as normal.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Other than Jump Infantry not actual needing to use the "jump Down" rule as they have jump packs instead of needing nature's elevator, this sounds correct.

Of course you can disembark by going through the building (assume all rules are met for moving through an intact building), in which case it would count as disembarking. Bu tI think you want to be able to assault so go with the jump rules.

When youre on battlements you arent "embarked", so no disembark.
