Hi all. Here goes with my first untested list. Please review and help improve, I have plenty of stuff to fiddle around with, if I need to change stuff.

HQ: Marneus Calgar with Special armour

Troops:

5 Sniper scouts w/ 1 rocket launcher
10 Tactical marines w/ Heavy bolter (Or rocket launcher) and flamer, with dedicated rhino.
Space marine bike squad, 5 bikes, 1 sarge bike, 1 attack bike with multi melta. (7 total in unit)

Elites:
Long range dreadnaught with Missile launcher and twin linked lascannon.
7 Terminator's + 1 terminator sarge, all with storm bolter's and power fist (Sarge with power sword) (Can't change these for assault termies or change weapons, they are the only termies I have)

Heavy support - Land raider.

So general Idea with the army. First turn, use the land raider to get HQ and termies a bit closer, and drop off right away, to give raider chance to get back to good range. Move up tacticals in rhino, hold back sniper scouts to pick people off. Bikes to harrass/quick-take points.
Dread for some more lovely long range fire.

Its quite a ranged-based army, but that's just how I like to play, and I have my termies and marines to get up close with if needed.

SO, what do you think? Not super competetive myself, this is mainly for friendly games, not a tourney army.

Aren't only Crusaders could carry 16x?

Termies count as 2x models and it looks like you would need 18x spots if you have 8x Termies + Calgar.

Well spotted! Will drop down the termie-count

Edit: Rejiggered to compensate for the termie-thing. Here goes.

Bikers are not troops.

I would get Telion and camo cloaks for scouts and increase their number. As you need more scoring units.

Shooty termies should have a CML or some heavy weapon.

The raider is too many points for 1500, especially as it doesn't fit your list.

Calgar costs way too many points.

Drop calgar, raider, for 2 vindis, librarian with SS and termy armour, CML for the termies, 5 more snipers, camo cloaks, Telion.
Maybe a biker captain with artificer armour and lighting claw and hellfire rounds, would be a good HQ to make your bikes into troops.

I am a fan of Tac Marines.

Split them up into 2 5 mans as well have one that runs out ahead with a flamer and keep one behind with a HW keeping pace with them from a distance.

I don't like infiltrators. They are a pain to deal with if they infiltrate into heavy cover but one quick CC move and they are torn to bits. I also feel their point value is too high to merit them as viable.

Love Terminators. Just keep shooting and pick on the weaker troops they have. Try to get a Cyclone Missile Launcher. There are tons of fun bits you can use. If you get a chance get 3 more and use 2 squads instead for more coverage.

Try sticking that Dreadnaught into a Drop pod for the Oh Crap! factor. I hate seeing them come out and flank my squishy parts. Also I know for BA you can grab 2 twin linked AC's for 15pts. The Lascannon is over priced but If you stick it in a Drop pod with auto cannons you can just out flank with a good DS and tear up the rear armor.

Also not a fan of bikes. They seem more like suicide squads and you can't (without the right game mode) capture points with them. I am a fan of drop pods and Tac / assault squads. Basics. The drop pod is the best thing since the drop pod in my opinion.

Here's another note. Magnets. All magnets. Magnets save money / time and are great when you want to play different styles on the fly.
