HQ-
• Haemonculus (in raider w/ wracks) w/ liquifier gun - 70

Troops-
• Kabalite Warriors x 9 w/blaster & dark lance + 1 Sybarite w/ agoniser in Raider w/ Disintegrator cannon & Night shield - 230

• Wracks x 8 w/ 2 liquifier guns + 1 Acothyst w/ agoniser - in Raider w/ Disintegrator cannon & Night shield - 200

Pretty sure this comes out to 500 exactly, but I could be wrong haha. I have no experience, so I have zero idea what I am doing feel free to offer any advice for this list. As of now I have purchased the Haemonculus, one box of Wracks, the Warriors, and one Raider. Please let me know if I am taking this army in the complete wrong direction Thanks!

Yer fine for now.

Given Jink rules, FFs aren't needed much on the raiders.

Now, the sybarite: lose his upgrades and toss him altogether. Warriors suck at h2h. Don't play them as if you intend to get them in h2h. Generally, *don't* get in them in h2h. They can take on IG or tau Fire Warriors, not much else.

Now, when you spend more money, and it's a wyche crew, then give the lead girl an agonizer and a raider.

For now, though, play KWs as support fire and the Wracks & haem as the wrecking crew. Log in a good 12 games and then look to get some girls and another raider ride.

Some thoughts:

1. With the new "challenge" rules I tend to find that I don't run an agoniser hekatrix anymore; a marine sergeant with a storm shield ruins my day too easily, and she no longer kills terminators - makes it a much less effective suggestion than in 5th edition.

2. With the new hull points rules, and the fact that moving vehicles are now a 3+ to hit (not a 6+), haywire grenades on small squads of otherwise-naked wyches are extremely effective.

3. Inclined to agree with the flicker field being generally unnecessary.

4. I think you've costed the haemonculus incorrectly. By my addition it should be 60 for haemi + liquifier.

5. A decision to run disintegrators is fine, but it means that you can't hurt AV12 and above (strength 5, right?). To combat this, you should take the aforementioned wyches with haywire - they'll kill any vehicle. Or dark lances on the raiders.

6. If the raider with the warriors moves, the dark lance is firing snap shots (not worth it; you need to be mobile to get your jink save)

7. Strongly suggest you drop the toys and add more boys. Example:

Haemonculus and liquifier
60

Wracks x 8, liquifier x 2, raider with disintegrator
160

Kabalite warriors x 10, splinter cannon, raider with disintegrator
160

Wyches x 5, haywires, raider with disintegrator
120

total: 500. Perhaps a bit weak against mechanised enemies, so swap in dark lances if that's a concern.

I agree with the previous posts about the ditching the Sybarite, FFs, and Darklance on the warriors.

I personally like the agatrix with the wytches, if you choose to get wytches at some point. I have yet to see a Marine sergeant that spent points on a stormshield, and challenges make the stupid high Initiative that wytches have even more useful. Against anything but a terminator, that's a pretty surefire dead squad leader. Maybe a Klaw Nob could survive, but at least the hekatrix has that 4++.

The 5 wytches /w haywire is a good tactic for cheap anti-tank. Just beware of open topped transports, as well as chimeras. Overwatch is very deadly to wytches.

Heh. I call her a Hekagonizer. I like 'agatrix' though.

True this. One player, in the last year actually put a SS on a sgt.

Thank you for the responses! You're right about 60 points for the hemie. And I'll probably swap the dark lance back onto the transports. That makes more sense.

I'll definitely strip down the troops and add wyches. As I continue to expand my army is there any strategy for troop size, especially the wracks. I have seen other players with only 3 or 4 in a unit but that never made much sense to me.

Wyches are so fragile. Does it make more sense to put them in a venom than have the wracks in a raider?

Also when I start to take more harmies should I keep them cheap with a liquifier or ad on other things?

Thanks again!

Haemonculus - 60
- liquifier gun

3x Wracks
- small enough to hold a well placed objective, be kept out of sight easily

5x Wyches - 125
-haywire grenades
Venom
-2x SC
- blow up tanks really well

10 x Warriors - 170
Raider
-Splinter Racks, disentegrator cannon
splinter rack re-rolls better than extra cannon shots

Ravager - 115
-3x DL, Night Shield
- Yeah i got a tank in here at 500

I fielded girls in packs of 9, and a haem boost for FNP. 6e nerfed the roll, but we got the gain on FNP working against nearly everything. So, yeah, I'd say they're more fragile, and it's essential that they have a haem Pain Token hand-off. Girls in a venom is no good, unless you're going to totally alter their role and make 'em haywire wielding tank hunters.

I don't like the sound of it though, not when your anti-T can be lance-spam to the tune of 21 lances at 1750 and 24+ at 2k.

So far, liqui-haems are the best way to go, unless something in 6e altered another build that now works great.

My view on wyches now is that if they get shot at, they die immediately. The way I play the 5 haywire wyches is to assault a (non-open-topped) vehicle asap, but on a corner of the vehicle, spreading the wyches to both sides evenly. That way, when they get shot, only half of them dies. Then you pass your morale test, because, lets be honest, you're dark eldar and that makes you amazing and then go running around on foot.

Worst case, they die to more shooting - at least that's one round of shooting that wasn't pointed at something else.
