I need some help with creating a list for 6th ed (about 1500 points). I want to keep my army core deathwing but I also want to put some IG into it.

Can anyone help me out

Just thinking, In the new rules do the allies (in this case the imperial guard) have to have the minimal unit organization (2 troops and a HQ) because one infantry platoon is one troops choice so you guard army wouldn't be usable.

I was under the impression that the allies force org was different in that only 1 HQ and 1 Troops were mandatory, although I could be wrong.

You'll find the most help on army lists in the 40k army list sub forum unfortunately I'm am not a Dark Angels player so my ability to help is limited.

The Allied detachment has a separate FOC that requires one HQ and one Troops.

The only mandatory stuff is 1 HQ and 1Troops, i'm sure, but is this list viable
