Hi guys for quite some time.now i have decided that doing mu emoire army i should do a peasent themed look using:

Men at arms from bretts for hakbediers.
Battle pilgrims from bretts for greatswords.
throw in some free company bits to the men at arms to make them look more oeasenty.

ive just wotked out the cost of the army bith with my peasent them and using proper empire models... and theyre about the same.. 50p difference tob exact... lol

so just a general question... will in your opinion my empire army look good with my peasent idea? or should i just use the cool empire models?

If you think the Empire models are cool, just stick with them. The Battle Pilgrims look nothing like Greatswords - more like Flaggelants. It depends on your group, but I think it might be kinda confusing.

ot wont be confusing in the group and id add armour to the pilgrims and i think.all the models are cool to be honest...

In short - it depends on how you paint them.

I think that State Troops look peasanty enough... half the heads look inbred. If they're not good enough just try a head swap with the zombie sprues
