Hey all... I have a doubt... With the FAQed combat squads, several things are changed... For example combat squads are considered 2 entirely different units, each one with its own eventual reserve roll and counting as "1 unit for all purposes"... My question is: does this means that I can put 1 combat squad in reserve and deploy the other on the table? Example: I Have 10 GK paladins, and I have a Stormraven as well... can i decide to split the unit in 2 combat squads and have on of the squads embarked in the stormraven (that cannot start on the board IIRC ) or deep-strike?
Thanks in advance for the help...

Yes, as you split before deployment.

So... since yo split in combat squads before deployment (FAQs) and you decide the reserves during the deployment (P.124 core rulebook) the action I propose is perfectly fine... I wanted some confirmation.
THX for the help Nosferatu!

No worries. It is a cmplete about face from the prior Combat Squads rules, whereby you could only split ON deployment.
