I love my Dark Angels, but ever since C:SM came out I've been feeling a bit of codex envy. Now with 6ed and allies, I can finally build the list I've always wanted to!

Primary
HQ
Belial w/ TH/SS

TROOPS
DW w/ TH/SS, CML, apothecary, standard
3x DW w/ TH/SS, CML

FA
2x Typhoons w/ MM

Allies
HQ
Librarian (biomancy and divination)

Elite
Full Sternguard w/ power sword, 3 combi-melta, drop pod

TROOPS
Full Tac squad w/ power maul, melta, MM, drop pod

HEAVY
Dakka Pred

The idea is to use the primaris power from divination to re-roll to hits on the sternguard their special ammo should be able to take care of just about anything (and TL shots wounding on a 2+ just sounds nasty!). The drop pods allow the my sternguard to come in first. I can DWA a squad of termies with it to provide another target to shoot at if need be. Prescience on the belial and friends would be pretty nasty as well. The only real weakness in this list is the lack of AA, but since fliers aren't huge in my local-meta (yet), I'm not worrying about it for now.

Any thoughts?

You could use scout bikers to get teleport homer, or use scouts.

I would go for a single drop pod of sternguard with sniper scouts with Telion. This is a better troop choice.
Or 3 drop pods, essentially something like a dread or more sternguard instead of the pred. This gives you more turn 1 alpha strike.

I would suggest spending points on the sternguard. Something like 8 combimeltas and 2 heavy flamers, or something like that. It makes them more killy.

Then you have no good way to down aeroplanes.

I'm not a huge fan of scouts, I don't think BS 3 provides enough dakka. This is just personal opinion, but I'd rather take a tac squad, they shoot better, they assault better, and they're fairly survivable. As far as homers go, I've never really had a problem deep striking in the past, and the drop pods remove the possibility of a TP mishap. As far as deep striking the termies, that's more on an opponent by opponent basis. The other tac squad is in a drop pod to come in later in the game and claim an objective, it's more mobile than my walking termies and allows me to claim objectives in the enemy deployment zone.

I can't take more than one elite per the rules for allies, so 10 is all the sternguard I'm gonna get. 3 combi-meltas and 3 MMs should be able to handle any AV13 or 14 I encounter, and the rest can be handled by missiles. I feel like any more than 3 would be a point sink. The dakka pred as been my friend all through 5th, and hasn't let me down in 6th either. It's a cheap, reliable anti-infantry weapon (and it's cheaper in C:SM too!). I see your point on heavy weapons, but I took sternguard for special munitions, and I'd really like to keep everyone with a bolter. I'll play test the heavy flamers though. As far as fliers, I mentioned that they weren't huge in my local meta. There's maybe one stormtalon, and I'm not really afraid of it.
