Looking at building a BT force for a tourney...
Which is better: CML or AC for my TDA squads?
And then considering "Tank Hunter" which is better?
Thanks for the help

for most armies the CML is always the choice, but for BT they get cheaper Assault Cannons, so its not so clear.
i still think the CML is the way to go, you still get to fire the storm bolter with it, so its still 4 shots, plus you need to be in ''24 for the AC while the CML has twice the range. plus you get the option to go frag or krak.

If you're going to play with pansy terminators that always hang back as far as possible and plink stuff, then take the missiles. As this style runs against the purpose of terminators in general, and against the nice little buffs they got in 6th ed. Take the assault cannon and learn how to use it.
The assault cannon was always awesome, but now that it glances vehicles to death, it's the clear winner. So what if you have to get closer to use it when you have deepstrike and phenominal saves that no longer care about power weapons? That you get them cheaper only seals the deal.

It really depends on your list.
Tank hunter works well with the rending to make the assault cannon the best against av13 and av14.
Then you bring a good load of typhoons to tackle lighter avs.
The CML is pretty great, nice range if you are scared of assault. Tank hunter is going to be worth it, it now makes the krak more reliable for lighter stuff.
So assault cannon for drop pod army, very nice list you would have too.
So CMLs for the later 5th edition gunline, very nice list you would have too.
