Hello. I am wondering with the wording on allies of convenience and desperate allies.

I saw this over on the bolter and chainsword but would an allied eldar farseer or eldrar shut down space wolves psykick powers since both allies of convenience and the eldar anti psyker uses the wording enemy? also would the same be true for space wolves rune weapon?

I'd say so, SW rune weapons say any enemy passing a psychic test, and allies of convenience are treated as enemy models.

I don't have my SW codex in front of me so I can't check the wording. But make sure the wording of the rune weapon entry doesn't say something like "the Space Wolves player MAY roll a die" to nullify the enemy power. In that case it would sound like the SW's have a choice to roll the die or not. Ditto for the Eldar Farseer.

Farseers simply make enemy models use +D6 for psychic powers, it isnt optional.

@Niiai: It is glorious news depending on how you think about it. All of the sudden all those psychic buff to Tyranids are useless. Armies specced for shooting will down your nids like nobody business.

Rune weapon wording makes it non-option. There's no 'may' or anything similar.

Nope it's mandatory. There is no may, only whenever.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.
