Subject: Wolfguard are now characters must they have different wargear?
Wolfguard are now characters according to the back of the 6th ed rulebook and on page 81 of the Space Wolves codex it says that characters can't have the same wargear so does that mean you can't have units of 5 combi melta wolfguard anymore?

You can find the answer in the space wolves FAQ. Only HQ characters are subject to the "leaders of the pack" rule.
