Here we see the much feared Necron Airforce taking on the equally feared Darigowing in a cheese-off! We see how good the Necron Airforce is but also how it can struggle with certain missions and conversely how stupid easy the Relic is for Deathstar armies. This is a good video to give you an idea of what to expect from 6th ed.

Nice report! A couple more mistakes to point out:

- I believe that 9-man paladin squad wouldn't be able to take 4 psycannons. I think they can take 2 for every 5 members. Might be wrong on that one.

- This probably wouldn't have made a difference, but the Necrons should have deployed something on the table for the first turn. Page 122 of the rulebook says that if a player has no models on the table at the end of a game turn, he automatically loses.
Easy fix - just deploy the Overlord out of LOS. However, that would mean that the Necron warlord (and an extra kill point) would have to be outside of a flyer.

What is the point of this video? I usually love your guys’ stuff but this was kind of pointless. You were trying to prove a point about but the game itself was awful. Draigo cheating and taking divination really skewed it. And then the flyer player spends turns shooting at the non relic unit why? I understand you can't get all your flyers to shoot relic unit but whenever possible you should of been shooting the relic unit, right? And how do you blow up your own doom scythe, you choose the points for the line of death! And I know flyer movement is new to everyone but I don't think spending two turns facing the direction trying to "come around" and get more shots is the way to move flyers. Spend a turn zooming off and zoom back for free next turn.

Again I love your guys videos and site but this wasn't a great example of your work.

Dpp17 you do realize that flyers have to move 18" minimum and that they only get 1 turn up to 90 degrees right?

I would love to see how you would use 8 flyers with a 24" shooting range and have every one of them fire at the same unit all game.... It's not possible... So either you shoot the second pally squad as your turning to make another run at draigo or you don't shoot at all. I know which I would choose.

YMDC has plenty of room for discussion veering away from the RAW, particularly in cases like this where what is being put forward as the RAW is absurd.

The fellas made some mistakes but that was really early into 6th ed.

Perhaps we were too negative, I can accept that. We were just a little shell shocked out how crazy playing against all those Flyers was and how much people were going to not like it as it would make them feel helpless.

Thanks for the feedback though, we appreciate it.
