Is anyone who is living the life of the Waghhh! giving their upgraded nobz eavy armor. Now that the challenge "fun" exists nobz with PKs will almost always be striking last, a 4+ save could be useful? Or would it be a waste due to high ap weapons?

Personally, I always run one Nob squad with 3 power klaws, 2 'uge choppas, a painboy, and all in 'eavy armour. The extra boost in survivability for a very modest points bump is easily justifiable IMHO. Even if they don't get saves from power weapons, they still are far more likely to survive getting into combat. Remember overwatch, it is not your friend

Are we talking about units of nobz or squad leaders?

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Eavy armour tends to do nothing unless your nobz are footsloggers ideally you want a painboy and cybork bodies

I would think that how I equip my "nob" would be a NSFW question. Rather personal, don't you think?

I would give them 'Eavy Armour if I have the points. It's not a huge priority for me but it does help.

I also do not wish to google information on this.

I would guess challenges will be made with power weapons.
I personally find bosspole and klaw still is the best, I am sure this will seem old school soon.

I find people do not challenge accept in dire situations where it is obviously the best tactic. Understanding challenges is surely really important nowadays, I will need to learn all this.
