Can you take more then one of the same runes in one army? Example can both my cannons have rune of forging?

As long as their not Master Runes and doesn't have the No Multiple Runes have no effect rule, go for it.

I don't think they can only have those runes though. Isn't there a rule about duplicate items? Give one of the cannons burning (in your example)
