Subject: Another digital rulebook revision?

So I recently checked out the Infinity site and noticed that there was a new file for download for the main rule book.
Scanning through it, I noticed a whole lot tighter writing, a lot more separation between rules and fluff descriptions, which I approve of. Even 2nd edition Infinity had issues where the an entry for a rule had you wading through 2-3 paragraphs of fluff text before hiding a actual rule within that.
Am I just seeing things, or did they recently revise it again?

I've just done a few spot checks. The current core rules file is the same as the one I downloaded late last year, and (checking an assortment of paragraphs) appears to match my 2nd edition core book.

There's another version out there that is a little smaller file size too. They took out some colors and backgrounds. A lot easier to use on a pad and such.

Isn't that the unofficial fan re-edit though?

Side note: I LOVE the unofficial fan re-editted version.
That thing rocks!

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |
