Hi Dakka,

So I'm running a DE/Eldar list, and I noticed that reavers come with small flying bases, whereas EJB come with the larger ones. I checked other forums and found that the base size for jet bikes don't matter, because for assault/shooting distance is measured from the model itself (unlike SM bikes). What's the take on this? Does base size matter? If it does, do EJB get small bases like DEJB, or large bases as supplied in the box? Thanks!

Jetbikes still use the base for all purposes. You use the base provided, which means large base for Eldar Jetbikes.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Those two statements are contradictory. Not all Eldar Jetbikes have come with a large base. Eldar Jetbikes have come with 3 different kinds of bases over the years.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

You are correct, I forgot that older models came with different bases. However, all the "new" models (are supposed to) come with the large base.

Then I guess I've been buying 'old' boxes... all my eldar jetbikes are on small flight bases.

I guess this is a bit of MFA... is anyone going to complain?

Most people won't even notice.
