Ok so this list is made using as many Space Wolves units as possible and then getting a small detachment of Imperial Guard in order to pick up a Vendetta to combat my buddy's Razorwing Jet Fighter. Let me know what you think where things might be able to free up points for more units etc.
As a disclaimer I am not going to switch to all Missile Launchers on my Long Fangs so do not suggest that please.

The Wolf Lord is made to be a MC/Walker Hunter, I will be playing against an eldar player who loves to use Wraithlords and War Walkers so this is the reason for this, The speed of the Thunderwolf Mount should allow me to get into combat with them and do work. I was thinking about running with Canis Wolfborn and changing my Lone Wolf to a MC hunter since he gets re rolls against them. Any opinions on that? I am not a huge fan of TWC but I love Wolf Lords on Thunderwolves.
Wolf Guard roll in the Drop Pods with the GH,
Long Fangs do what Long Fangs do best and that is shoot stuff.
I am not sure what to do with Njal I want him for his psychic defense and his insanely awesome powers just not sure where I can tuck him. I was juggling the fact of taking one of the TDA WG and putting him in PA and then throwing Njal and the WG in a GH squad.
The veterans in a Chimera with plasma ride around and aim for hard targets. I was debating dropping them for a Infantry Platoon kitted with Autocannons or Lascannons. Opinions? Their main purpose is obviously to unlock the Vendetta, I am also unsure where to place the Primaris Psyker and opinions would be grand.
Thanks in advance can't wait to see the ideas!

Not to dissimilar to what I am starting to run in 6th edition really. Some thoughts:
1. The Vendetta actually has 3 TLLC by the way
2. The Heavy Flamer on the Chimera is considered by IG players to be the stronger option. Its free and you can usually get a lot of them and when you are moving you are going to want to use that S6 Multi-laser.
3. Your Wolf Lord is fine, leave him as is. He's one of the deadliest things in combat as he is set up. The only thing that will suck is that he's awfully exposed in this list. You have no Rhinos to hide behind or other unit of TWC to join.
4. Njal is fun. Personally I'd just drop him for a normal Rune Priest and drop the Wolf Guard entirely. You should have 274 points left over right there. Grab a Wolf Priest and Wolf Guard Battle Leader to lead your Grey Hunters. May be able to squeeze in an extra Grey Hunter in each squad then as well. They'll do better than your Wolf Guard anyways in a Challenge bring more to the table.

Would you recommend master of runes? Or a bare bones priest with living lightning stuck in a squad? My only concern is targeting at that point.
I had toyed with a WGBL just wasn't sure on the kit.

I haven't yet been swayed that Master of Runes is improved in 6th edition really. Its a steep price tag, and unless you are picking the Primaris Power from Divination you don't know what you get will even be worth while. To me grabbing Living Lightning and either Jaws of the World Wolf or Murderous Hurricane is just a solid pick for 100 points. LL is just nice so that you have some S7 hits, but the other two can easily be used with Grey Hunters.

Actually if you are facing Eldar Njal might be fun as his Lord of Tempests affects don't require psychic checks .

Revamped list.
- I dropped the vet squad in the Chimera for a standard Infantry Platoon to sit on deployment zone objectives and fire auto cannons.
- I kept Njal but dropped the WG for a Wolf Priest and added 2 GH to one squad to make it a 10 man squad and unlock the second plasma gun. I also was able to add another HB Long Fang to the mix giving me two squads of 5 heavy weapons.
- This list gives me 6 objective holding units and a total of 14 units with 6 starting the game in reserve. As well as the flyer to deal with enemy flyers and to kill stuff.
C&C welcomed as always.
