So I have a core for what my army wants to be shaped like, but I need some HQ help. I'm drawing a complete blank on how to load out an HQ. Any help is appreciated. Also any advice on ttyhe list itself is welcome and appreciated.
Here's what I got



3 squads of 8 Khorne berzerkers, w/ champ ( fist and plasma pist), and 2x plasma pistols
2 squads of 7 plauge marines in a rhino with two plasma guns and a champ w/ fist
3 oblits

Kharn the Betrayer is probably the best CSM HQ choice. Princes are not so bad, but warptime got gimped. If you're taking lash, then you're best going a Sorcerer anyway.

I personally do not like Kharne anymore after the effect 6th ed has had on him. I'd run a D Prince or a Sorc. Running
Tzeentch with bolt of change gives your D Prince that extra can opening ability that you are lacking with long range, you can take wind too which is a good troop breaker, and his survivability goes up with 4++. Using lash is always effective strategically, espwcially given the new rules and how you can rearrange models. Lash + Plasma bombing oblits is great as well. Sorc is less expensive and concealable, but I like having a MC flying around the table, posing close quarter threats.

Or swap out bezerkers with 1k sons they may not be able to overwatch, but you get more pyschic powers to user with thier aspiering sorcerers.

as for hq's i sugest trying to make you're own from a lord, people say they suck but i find them fun to use.
