Sorry if this is in the wrong spot... If someone came up to asking you to play a small relatively low points game so they could be introduced to the game how would you feel?

I'd feel happy to get in a game.

My sentiments exactly. I would then field a weaker force than theirs and try to help them as much as possible while doing my best to kick their behind.
Teaching new players is awesome.

I would jump at the chance. Being relatively new my self all my stuff is in the low points anyway. Plus I don't get the chance to play much as it is.

I'd feel normal. This happens all the time and I'm happy to do it.

I find it odd you would feel anything other than what you normally feel when playing someone. At the least a low points game should be fairly quick and still allow you time to play what you consider a normal sized game.

Background OP, let's hear the backstory. Were you the asker or the asked? I'm having a sneaking suspicion that you asked someone to show you a system and he TFG'd you.

I would feel angry and full of hatred! How dare someone ask me to allow them to learn a new game! I would force them to buy 3500 points of an army if they wanted to play against me, and then I would ragequit immediately after deployment, before they could learn a single rule!

Or, the complete opposite of that. Your question seems strange... is there a backstory?

EDIT: yeah, I suspect that MightyGodzilla has guessed this one. If so, don't be discouraged. I'd guess that the odds are something like 1 in 20 that you'd get a neckbearding like that instead of someone who's -thrilled- at the chance to teach and share their game with another potential player. Were it me, I'd pop 500 points of a secondary army on the table for ya to use if ya didn't already have models, then swap out my awesomesauce Necrons for the weird & wacky stuff, and try to show ya how fun the game can actually be.

Like breaking out my Flash Git, Grot army.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

If a stranger approached me at a bus stop, or in a public convenience, or while I was visiting my dying father in hospital, I might find it a little odd - especially if I was required to go back to their house.

In the appropriate setting, I see no problem with it.

That happens a lot to me.

If it happened right now I would decline, as I don't have a good enough grasp on 6th, WHFB, nor any other system.

However, I have shown people before, and now one has like 10k points of BA he bought at the FLGS.

I'd probably suggest getting a demo game from a more experienced player ^^; but if they really wanted me to I'd be more then happy to. If I had a game scheduled with immediacy I'd probably have them watch me and the other guy play through that and walk them through as we played, then run a nice 500 point skirmish to let them try a hand.

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn
Lemme at least leave a good hoof beat they'll remember loud and long

I'd get my grubby hands all over their models, covering them in cheesits, belittle them for every mistake they make, argue about rules and smell bad.
To give them a introduction into how the life of wargaming is like, amirite gusy. RITE.

No, for real, why would I refuse? I'd happily play.

Laugh of the night goes to you!

BOT:
I would probably find a friend of mine to do it, I have a shoddy grasp of the new ruleset, but I would most certainly help them.
