6th edition has arrived, and although I have played less than a dozen games I begin question paying 7.67 boyz for one nob. Before it seemed like such an easy auto include because of how easy it was to keep the nob alive, but anyways here is my list and its on the shooter side:

HQ:

Big Mekk KFF- 85
Warboss- Mega armor, cybork- 110

Troops:

20x Shoota boyz- 2 BS- 130
20x Shoota boyz- 2 BS- 130
19x Shoota boyz- 1 BS-119
7x Nob bikers(PB, Waaagh Banner, 2PK, 7 cybork, 2BP, 1BC)-455

Elite:
10x lootas-150
10x lootas-150
4x Meganobz- 4 skorcha- 180
-Dedicated Transport Battle Wagon, 4 BS, RR-115

Heavy Support:
Battle Wagon, 4 BS, RR-115
Battle Wagon, 4 BS, DR- 130
Battle Wagon, 4 BS, DR-130

Total:
1999

Big Mekk with boyz and warboss with Meganobz. Bikes can either run up the battlefield or take cover for the first two turns behind BW, depending on match up. Not sure how the community feels about Meganobz, but I like them, especially with the skorchas; they can take out big tough things with claws and still burninate mobs of kroot. Also this list has no dakka jets, let me know what your would replace for a jet! Appreciate any and all feedback.

I always press dat, if you know what I mean.

I like this list as lot. I would only recommend Armour Plates on the Battlewagons to keep a Stunned result from preventing your Boyz from shooting and your BWs from rolling.

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time.

Unless you're planning on running your battlewagons through terrain, a Reinforced Ram is a waste of points on a battlewagon. I agree with Jon, AP is a must.

Straya, looking for the right mad max/killer wildlife vibe for my Orks

Unless the 6th ed rule book has changed this, Looted wagons are not dedicated transport. Battlewagons, however, can be dedcated transport for Meganobz.

Not sure what you mean by that? It is a battle wagon.

I like this list a lot, it looks a lot like the one I've been running.

Lootaz are a phenomenal choice for this edition! I haven't had much opportunity to use them yet since the primary opponents in my area are Mech-crons and various space marines with LRs (AV13 and 14 is bad news for lootaz).

I guess my only critique is the lack of boyz. At 2k you really can't go under 90 boyz (120 is preferred). Does your local meta have very little shooting?

I also think (while very cool) the boss isn't really necessary. You could get more use out of 110pts (that's almost 20x boyz).

Overall great list, I'm excited to hear how it's been working (will work) for you!

I haven't played too many games with the list, but I have played about 8 against, some aganist Tau, SW, and Eldar. It has won every game so far. I agree with you and always like more boyz, but I don't see it being very possible with this type of an army. At 2k points I already stretch my army by not bringing nobz with the boyz and only two death rollers, but it return I get a deathstar in the 7 nobz, and a mini one in the Mega Warboss and Manz squad and four BW. I think your right about the megawarboss, but I have always just liked Meganobz and if your run them they need the leadership, the Big Mek however isn't as integral to battlewagon lists as he once was, and without him I could fiddle around with the list. I always like new ideas, so if you cut the Big Mekk and anything else you might not want in the list, what would it look like?

I always press dat, if you know what I mean.
