How good do you think it is? What could I improve to make it better? Thanks. Sorry is on the side.

Did you guys know Canada has a friggin desert?

The tyranid looks really cool, especially the green effect!

one thing that I suggest you should do is to base it. Basing a model makes them look MUCH better. I would also suggest finding a way to make the transition of skin to metal a bit smoother; although I don't know how.

One question though...why are you saying sorry?

You're not playing the game like I play it...why aren't you playing the game like I play it?! O_O

I know it's a bit too late for this one, but my first thought when I was opening the thread was that I was gonna see some cool greenstuff work to make the head smoothed back. That would be what I would shoot for, something like the pic below.

I will magnetize (now doing LED as well) your models for you, send me a DM!

Thanks a lot! I almost forgot about basing it, it's one of the first models I've worked on. For some reason, the picture was rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise.

I guess I could get another Trygon to try it What's greenstuff? Is it kind of like modelling clay?

do a wash on the whole model, and then highlight the surfaces by drybrushing with the base color ( except in the instance of your black surfaces try using a dark grey)

Greenstuff is a 2part 'clay' that you mix the 2 parts and it'll start to harden. Once it's fully cured you can sand it, use a modeling knife on it, etc. can prime and paint it just fine as well. GW sells it

Very nice, I like the theme.

My only pointers would be to smooth out the metallics a tad (color variations showing on the main talons).

Otherwise, base that bad larry and go eat Ellen Ripley.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
