Seconded. Open list, two HQ's are Slaanesh. Apparently only 998 sons.

Hey now, he can always model it as some arcane energy tendril that comes from a Tzeentchien daemon, it doesn't HAVE to be Slaanesh on the table, only on paper. If you have the skills to work it more power to ya, i have heard mixed things about thousand sons in 6th, from they got nerfed to they got way better, so its all about generalship i guess.

And does it say anywhere that the sorcerors 100% worship Tzeentch maybe two sorcerors of the 1k sons

Sounds like a good call. A nice model can make everything ok.

yeah the model is painted up blue in a tzeenchian theme
and the second prince im using actually isnt painted but itll be blue like the first one its a reaper mini it actually had a big like fire whip that will be painted like a blue flame color.

pretty sure the thousand sons worship tzeentch as they follow magnus who follows tzeentch. 1k sons not following tzeentch would be like death guard not following nurgle or emperors children not following slaanesh.

you could probably argue it though that the demon princes found a way to manipulate the warp to produce a lash like effect.

I read "a thousand sons" a while ago, and cant really remember, but a thread recently said the 4th company wasnt present during the burning of prospero, so would they have been turned into the rubric marines? i dont know

Yeah i dont really pay alot of attention to how they actually behave i kinda make up how they would act in my head.
In my head i think of them as all still being able to speak and are 100% the same as before the rubric just sealed in the armor but i know thats not

i only have ahriman and 17 thousand sons and call them the prodigal sons(ahrimans little entourage) so that way they arent all rubric marines and are still alive, at least as far as my understanding of the fluff goes that is correct.

ahriman has rubrics with him i believe the difference is that hes cast out from the main body of 1k sons he has his coven of sorcerors that helped him cast the rubric in the first place but those would be the squad leaders so the rest would still be rubrics correct?

i wasnt aware that he had rubrics with him, i thought it was just the sorcerers that were exiled with him, but it would make sense for the members of his own occult to follow him around in exile.

yeah he has his personal coven of sorcerors but everyone with a boltgun in 1k sons armor is a rubric marine so there are no normal marines left your either a sorceror or a rubric is how i think it is he does have atleast a few rubrics with him probably the squads of rubrics his coven led when they were exiled most likely but he has some.

One group of nine flamers? It gets a bit unwieldy trying to arrange that many to get flamer templates properly spaced so you might want to cut that down a bit (and are you using their new WD stats?)

Screamers are awesome, and got better in the WD so make sure you get that issue.

If lash is going away in the new codex I wouldn't be too wedded to those daemon princes in the near future, but I can't argue with the loadout. If you reduce the number of flamers I would bulk out that 3-man Termy squad though. Three simply isn't enough even with their saves. Alternately, also cut a herald for more terminators or more obliterators.

Are you swapping the Aspiring Sorcerors power for BRB abilities? If not, that's an option.

Tzeench has everything planned! even the survival of the eldar race!

I would run Doombolt, and trade it in for a roll on Telepathy or Telekinesis as far as Aspiring Sorcerers go.

Telepathy's Shriek is best for shooting at shooty enemies in good armor if you don't get what you want

Telekinesis' Assail is good for slapping a unit 18" if you KNOW they will charge you. Sometimes having Tsons in the open is just too good for an enemy to pass up. They might laugh at assail, but when that ONE terminator moves as if he's in terrain, it can save your unit of Tsons from being charged by a few inches.

Bolt of Change has no place now. We need tricks to survive, and I know the recent rumor Q&A on Faeit212 is just "rumor", but rumor has it that Aspiring Sorcerers will only be Mastery Level 1 in the new codex.

That said, consider taking advantage of Mastery Level 2 while you can. Hallucination or Gate of Infinity can really change the game with your list.

mk i switched for doombolt that gives me a grand total of 1950 so 50 points left tho i do qute like the idea of rolling a 5 or 6 on the telepathy table and getting invisibility or hallucination!

Not sure about the 50 pts... how about more horrors?

Yeah the new screamer rules make them fantastic for only 25 points apiece! actually i have 60 points because 1k sons squad is only 289 and thats enough points to up the daemon princes to how i like to run them!
