I'm making a list for the Salamanders army I plan to start within this month. All c&c is welcome as I am green to Space Marines.

It's hard to get a lot of comments on Dakka for a c:sm army. Looks ok I'd probably prefere a couple of speeders or attackbikes to deliver your close melta.

I agree, if there is any change to be made it would substituting in a fast way to deliver MM shots (attack bike or speeder).

I know points add up fast but that is a tiny army that really doesn't take advantage of Vulkan all the much.

First, make sure all your tac-squads have either a flamer/meltagun and a multi-melta. Second, drop the thunderfire cannon for a pair of multi-melta speeders. They will add a quick strike element you need to your army. Third, I give a big 'meh' to predators. Another tac squad or a vindicator would likely serve your army better.

Vulkan is a lot of points and combat tactics is pretty great. This balances when you have enough melta+flamer.
On top of that you need some sort of antiflyer and probably some longrange firepower. Not sure Vulkan does this well, I suspect MM attack bikes could do antiflyer well.

You'll do fine with that list.

LRR are gonna be a bit fail in 6th ed. And I say that as a Sallies player with two of them. Its due to the fact that to kill infantry you have to drive right next to them, and with units that can spam meltabombs or haywires hitting on 3's in CC they will just die very quickly

If I were you I would use the points you've spent on the land radier and get another 5 TH/SS terminators and bring them down in a big blob. Terminators are the new black this ed, and with master crafted hammers, Vulkan does these guys justice

Honestly, id drop the LRR and take a Tac Termi squad, either with a HF or CML. Yes the HF is helped by Vulkan but the CML is always good.
