This is a bit unrelated, but do you have any experience running SW with drop pods? I'm curious how they shape up in 6th.

How awesome are the allies rules in 6th, btw? Being a huge IG fan, and then being able to field them with SM, holy cow. Really awesome.

That looks like a very solid list. Swiftclaw Bikers are a lot better now than in 5th Edition, I think you'll find you will like them even with a BS and WS of 3.

The only thing I would consider is dropping a single Vendetta (its got to fire at the same target anyways) and swap the Manticore for a Medusa. Use the points to take a Wolf Priest with the same kit as your Rune Priest.

@Iarquinius No, I have never used DP Wolves. However, I do play wolves. Grey Hunters are the business. I do believe DPs all around got a lot better in 6th ed. The fact alone that you can disembark 6" is awesome, but then you get overwatch if/when they charge you. Pair that with Counter Attack and a Rune Priest with Prescience and you got yourself a solid unit. Allies make the game very fair. In 5th, armies were limited to their strengths only in their codex. Where as now strengths are borrowed. For example, Orks were always good at smashing face in overwhelming numbers. Psychic defense was never a strong suit of theirs, but now allied with Eldar, they just got upgraded to the best psychic defense in the game.

@cowmonaut Yeah, I was toying around with the list and thinking that about the Vendettas too. If there are flyers, I need them taken down immediately. That's why I included two. I could however take IG as my Primary and SW as my Secondary without changing the list at all. Then I could take two squadrons of one Vendetta each. Although I am a fan of S10 AP2 blasts, I enjoy the idea of sniping people with barrage weapons and D3 shots is too good to pass up.

Rethought the list, more troops are good. Thoughts?
