Frightening Flamer of Tzeentch
|
I would like to know if it would be possible for a craftworld to worship Tzeentch?
I believe they could justify it maybe by like saying he used his power to perserve them
so they can live forever and when they die be preserved without spirit stones
and that he gives them much more psychic power and they no longer have to
hold themselves back in fear of slaanesh as Tzeentch would protect them.
what do you all think possible?
no?
im stupid?
EDIT: spelled Tzeentch wrong dont know if i still did xD

Tzeentch is master of knowledge, and provides interesting knowledge to random people, mostly to see what they can do with it.
It's not too crazy to imagine Tzeentch having a hand in a craftworld's rescue from a Warp storm or something and implanting all kinds of thoughts to the citizens.. Who knows what'd they do with new found knowledge? Follow him?

Although this is completely source-less, I'm sure I read somewhere that most of the Chaos Gods lean away from the Eldar, as Slaanesh has claimed them so completely and utterly that if any other God were to interfere in any major way, it would be like declaring a major war between the Gods; I mean, they accept the bit of casual infighting, but when one has their heart completely set on something, the others know well enough to stay away or risk trouble in the pantheon...
..Although, as I say, no source, so this could be lies..
Otherwise, Chaos Eldar aren't such a bad idea I mean, when Slaanesh is lingering around your coffin waiting for the next meal, why not turn to his/her stronger brothers to bargain a deal and a bit of safe coverage. In return, as mentioned, the Eldar would get access to some pretty mean psychic stimuli (and although they may be a bit off with the mutations, who knows what a tentacled Guardian would be capable of doing!) Meanwhile, Tzeentch get's to annoy both Slaanesh AND the Eldar (as a whole race) at the same time, and opens up a Craftworld for later consumption by his daemons when he deems fit. PLUS, finding a way to get access to the Webway would be something Tzeentch would find irresistable (and, no doubt, Ahriman wouldn't be far behind..)

The whole Isha think is also only a myth on one obscure Craftworld. It's possible it can happen, just not very probable. Just make it look cool and I doubt you'll have issues.

well i was thinking of making a wraithguard/wraithlord list with a wraithseer and instead of having warlocks as squad leaders in the wraithguard squads i was thinking sorcerors and maybe having the story be that in exchange for saving craftworld the eldar made a deal with Tzeentch to hand over there wraith constructs and eldrad would also lead the army but using the ahriman model what would yall think of something like that?

So Tzeentch-corrupted Eldar is perfectly plausible!

I think it's technically possible but it would involve them all turning from their paths, and I can't imagine other eldar on the outside to approve. Also, their spirits being recycled through the warp instead of using spirit stones seems like a bigger gamble than any eldar would be willing to make, I'd rework their motivation a bit.

what i was more thinking was not them nessscarily doing it because they wanted to but rather to save themselves because they value the lives of eldar so dearly i think my final concept around the army will be something like a space marines of the wolfy variety attack with a few of there succesor chapters and be causing major damage and then mysteriously ahriman appears out of nowhere with his coven and rubrics and offers to get rid of the wolves and the other marines in exchange for giving up some of there precious dead bretheren and the eldar accept and ahriman and his coven are more then happy to destroy the wolves and takes much pleasure obliterating them and when the fight is over the eldar hand over a bunch of wraithguard and wraithlords including a ancient wraithseer.

Tough to pull off. The main benefits of the Big T would be mad psyker powers and/or serious precog capabilities. Both are things that the Eldar have (relatively) in abundance.
I'm not sure that your scenario would work for Craftworld Eldar. AFAIK the Imprerium hasn't directly assaulted a Craftworld. Which makes sense, since that would involve insane loses, and even the Imperium is capable of realizing that the Eldar do share some common interests with them.
What would be so imporant to some Eldar that they would be willing to risk the warp upon death? Better question: Is the big T playing them? Give them a little power now, but turn their souls over to She Who Thirsts upon death? Even better, do the Eldar know that this is what is happening, but believe that the payoff is worth it.

Not to pick apart your fluff, but....to pick apart your fluff, since you want it to be correct, you shouldn't say SW and their succesor chapters since they've only had one succesor chapter and that ended rather poorly.

The whole craftworld culture is centered around fighting and resisting Chaos. So if you are lucky, you may find ONE Eldar worshipping Tzeentch. But a whole craftworld? As likely as a complete US state turning to fundamental Islam.

Unlikely for a whole craftworld. However small groups of Eldar, particularly Eldar psykers, is not impossible as they may be misled by false visions of the future (or altered visions that end up furthering Tzeentch's schemes).
Evidence for this is given in the old Codex Daemonhunters:
It is just as likely a strike force of Daemonhunters will be dispatched to combat a corrupted Imperial Guard regiment only for a Bloodthirster to burst out from the tattered remnants of its Colonel, or for a coven of Eldar psykers to have become beguiled by the magicks of Tzeentch.

Khorne wouldn't mind...he might even leave his throne and lead the grand assault on Slaanesh' Palace.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

It's perfectly possible, but I'd see it as more of a fiction/roleplaying angle than an army-building one. The idea of a farseer entrapped by Tzeentch (maybe they all are already) or a exarch falling to Khorne (maybe they all... you get it) is quite an intriguing one. I'm sure the idea of a desperate or power-mad eldar selling his soul to one of the other chaos gods to escape Slaanesh has come up here before, too.
