Ok...Below is a 1767 point list. It needs to be 2000 points. I'm looking for suggestions for what to add / subtract. I'm open to anything but thunderwolves.

Ok...This is 1767 points, I've got 233 to play with. Right now, I don't have any Lascannons in the list, so my gut reaction is to add 3 razorbacks with TLLC's. I could give one to each of the Long Fang squads. Or I could add a character and some Land Speeders. Or I could add more Grey Hunters. Or I could give vehicles to the ones I have. Or scouts, or more terminators.
Help me out.

If so another Aegis line wouldn't hurt -- would let you keep your Beardy Backhanger units apart more and give another interceptor gun. You've already got the required 2HQ and 4 troops.
With the remaining 133 points, perhaps get a couple of razorbacks or maybe add another Long Fang squad (if you feel short of beards in the list)
Follow these two simple rules to ensure a happy Dakka experience:
Rule 1 - to be a proper 40K player you must cry whenever a new edition of the game is released, and always call opposing armies broken when you don't win.
Rule 2 - Games Workshop are always wrong and have been heading for bankrupcy within 5 years since the early 90s.

I honestly had not thought to check with the tournament FAQ to see if I could use 2 FOC's. This is something I would consider.

Don't count on two FOC, most TO's realize how imbalanced it is.
The list has a lot of odd (IMO poor) choices, the WGBL is very pointless and I would personally drop the Wolf Priest in favor of a Rune Priest. Divination powers are great and that 4+ save is great to have now. Taking the power weapon on the Rhino squads is just a little much, that along with the MoTW are just bloating your units. The Heavy Bolter Fangs are pretty pointless, Missiles will do better against just about anything and have more duality.
If you are going to take plasma cannons on fangs put them in one unit. The range differences is a big reason and simply to save points. You also shouldnt need that much plasma.

I'd say this list is pretty good. You have 53 scoring bodies (one Priest in each rhino, 1 WG each for the plasma squads and the CMLWG for one 5 man back field squad. The other mans the Quadgun). Id use the Divination powers, twin linked will help you kill flyers. Its also great on overwatch. I figured you liked the CC phase a little so I kept in 7 Power Weapons. Having a few fists is a good idea considering regular weapons are no longer AP2. The Wolf Claw Wolf Guard should be decent in challenges, getting those rerolls helps. The list has 12 Missiles, the Quadgun, 4 Lascannons, 8 Plasma guns, 2 Flamers and 4 Meltas. This should cover most bases. I'd also try to keep in a few extra vehicles, it makes it harder to simply shoot at the Rhinos, de-mech you and call it a day.

This is nice, but lacks a hard hitting assault unit. Hence the addition of MotW and power weapon in the melta squads. I would rather keep just one rune priest. The Wolf priest doesn't have to risk perils of the warp to make his squad fearless and preferred enemy. Plasma Cannons are there to deal with Terminators which I expect a lot of.
I think you're right about the WGBL. Other people had convinced me that I would need him to deal with challenges. I also like my heavy bolters (they gimp 4+ armor!), but I'll take them out for now.

I'd ALWAYs add a WG to every GH squad that plans on moving near midfield, increased LD helps and they can absorb IC's in CC for a turn. I'd also turn that last Fang squad into a missile squad. If you want assault I would either take some dedicated CC (TWC, Lone Wolves) or none at all. Those GH are simply too expensive if you add an extra 30 pts worth of stuff to them. Lone Wolves are awesome now, FNP all the time because of EW and you can use Fenrisian wolves to increase their charge range by sling shotting.

4-6 meltas is better suited for such a task. Not to mention his list, while partially mech, is mostly infantry based. The Vindicators prioritize themselves as targets making it, IMO, a lesser choice. It's simply too easy to point anti-tank at the Vindicator when there are barely any other vehicles.. Not to mention that most AV14 vehicles aren't very efficient (Monolith, Russes) or have to be very aggressive in their movement (LRs). Raiders will generally close the gap making it easier to use melta. AV14 isn't a big deal. Weight of fire > quality of fire. Good luck beating flyers if you decide to use your HS on Vindi's.
That being said, if you decide on Vindi's I would switch the list to more of a Mech-based list with a higher vehicle count (somewhere around 9-12 oughtta do it).

Swiftclaws. They are fast and tough and hit harder than ever. Get them a Wolf Guard on a Bike with Combi-Melta, a Meltagun, and an Attack Bike with Multi-Melta. Take any Meltabombs you feel you need. Now never worry about AV14 again.
If you need more points for it I'd say drop the WGBL as I don't think he'll be that stellar in a Challenge. I could just be jaded cause of my dice rolls in Challenges lately...

Except that Vindicators have AV 13 (not 14) and I've already taken up all of my heavy support choices.
FYI - tournament organizer said no to two FOC's.
But to address comments; This one replaces the HB+PC Long Fangs with a Vindicator, exchanges the wolf priest for a rune priest (totally optional) and adds MotW to the two plasmagun squads.
